In April 2022, my wife travelled to London for work, and our young son and I went with her. It was my first visit to London. We stayed for twelve nights, from 23 April to 5 May.

For much of the first week, my wife was working, so my son and I went out on our own, nearly always by bus. Later, the three of us explored together, with day trips to Dover, Stonehenge, Bath and the Cotswolds. During the holiday, my wife also made a one-day business trip to Amsterdam.
