Between November 2018 and January 2019, we visited Bintan three times, each time with a different group of people and at a different resort.
In November, we spent a weekend at The Canopi with the family of one of my wife’s friends, celebrating our son’s and their daughter’s birthdays. Less than two weeks later, we were back on the island, at Bintan Lagoon Resort with four families. In January, we returned once more, to Cassia Bintan, this time with both sides of our family.
The island was the same each time, but the people we travelled with made each visit a different experience.
