In September 2018, my wife travelled to Beijing for work, and our son and I went with her. We spent six days in the city, from 24 to 29 September, staying at the InterContinental Beijing Sanlitun.
While my wife worked, my son and I explored the area around the hotel, and in the evenings we went out together as a family. On 28 September, we joined a small-group tour to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Mutianyu Great Wall.
