Comments on Thawaio

Thawaio is a personal journal about travel, food, finance, technology and everyday experiences. Comments are welcome, including different opinions and respectful disagreement. The aim is a conversation worth having, not an argument for its own sake.

Respectful discussion

• Be respectful of other readers.
• Disagreement is welcome.
• Personal attacks, harassment, threats, and hateful or discriminatory remarks are not allowed.
• Please avoid posts meant only to disrupt or inflame.

Relevance and spam

• Keep comments reasonably relevant to the article.
• Do not post spam, repeated promotions, affiliate links or unsolicited advertising.
• Do not post misleading links or pretend to be someone else.

Privacy

• Do not post passwords, financial account details, home addresses, phone numbers or other sensitive personal information.
• Do not share another person’s private information without their permission.

Finance discussions

Some Thawaio articles describe my own trading and investing experiences.

• These articles are personal reflections, not investment recommendations.
• Comments must not be used to solicit investments, promote pump-and-dump schemes or spread scams.
• You remain responsible for your own financial decisions.

Moderation

I may remove comments that break this policy. Comments may be held for review or removed without notice, and repeated breaches may lead to a commenter being blocked.

A comment that stays up is not one I necessarily agree with or endorse.
