Financial Disclaimer
The finance and trading posts on Thawaio are a personal record. They are not advice, and this page explains what that means.

Personal records, not advice
Finance and trading posts record my own experiences, research, opinions and decisions, including the gains, the losses and the mistakes. They describe what I did and why, not what you should do.
Nothing on Thawaio is personalised financial, investment, legal, accounting or tax advice. I do not know your circumstances, objectives or tolerance for risk.
No offer or recommendation
Nothing on Thawaio is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security, investment or other asset.
Investing involves risk
Investments can fall in value as well as rise, and you may get back less than you put in. Past performance, mine or anyone else’s, does not predict future results. High-risk or speculative assets can lose a substantial part or all of their value.
You remain responsible for your own decisions and their results.
Your own research
Please do your own research before making any financial decision, and consult an appropriately qualified professional where you need advice that takes your situation into account.
Positions and interests
I may hold, have previously held, or later acquire positions in the securities or other assets I write about. I will disclose any material financial interest or commercial relationship that is relevant to an article, normally in the article itself.
Sponsored and affiliate material
Thawaio does not currently publish sponsored content or use affiliate links. If that changes, sponsored or affiliate material will be clearly disclosed where it appears.
Accuracy and timing
Prices, rules and market conditions change. Each article shows when it was published and, where it applies, when it was last meaningfully updated; read it with that date in mind. This disclaimer does not change any legal or regulatory responsibilities that apply to me or to you.
Travel, food and technology

- Food: allergies and health needs differ. Check ingredients and suitability for yourself.
- Technology: products, settings and prices change. Back up your data, and check that a tool or method suits your situation before relying on it.
