A Relaxed Afternoon in the Swan Valley

Seven of us in a hired seven-seater, wandering between wineries, tastings, honey and chocolate in the Swan Valley.

For this part of the day, our friend had hired a seven-seater and drove us all around. There were seven of us in the car: our family of five, our friend and his daughter.

It was a relaxed outing rather than a fixed itinerary. We explored the Swan Valley at an easy pace, taking in wineries and wine tastings, honey, chocolates and other places along the way.

Along the way

The photographs from the valley begin at Elmar’s in the Valley.

Another stop along the way.

We also stopped at Coward & Black, the chocolatier, with its providore alongside.

Lancaster

Another stop was Lancaster, a winery with its vines right beside the buildings.

It was autumn, and some of the vines were already turning colour.

We weren’t finished yet. From the valley, our friend drove us towards the river and the coast.
