A clear day at Aoraki/Mount Cook

A sunny day with some cloud, short walks the grandparents could manage, and a suspension bridge we reached but did not cross.

On 24 November, we left Lake Tekapo and drove to Aoraki/Mount Cook. It was sunny, although there were some clouds. Despite the clouds, Mount Cook was clearly visible.

Short walks

The older members of our group could not manage long walks, so we chose shorter walks and did not venture very far.

We walked part of the Hooker Valley Track, as far as a suspension bridge. We did not cross it.

I enjoyed the mountain scenery. After Mount Cook, we continued towards Queenstown.
